HEALING, EDUCATION & ENLIGHTENMENT FOR WOMEN & THEIR FAMILIES
GBG is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to restoring communities through programs and resources that help make women and families healed and whole. We believe this is the foundation for strong and vibrant communities.
WHO WE ARE
Goddesses Retreat One
In 2009 as estimated by the VA, 107,000 former servicemen and women were homeless on a given night. Though 96 percent of homeless Veterans are male, the number of female Afghanistan and Iraq Veterans experiencing homelessness is increasing as is the number of homeless Veterans who have dependent children. Veterans have been known to have high rates of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, sexual trauma, and traumatic brain injury which can lead to a higher risk for homelessness, suicide, and despair. Because women heal differently than men, we must do everything by any means necessary to help them transition in mind, body, and spirit. It is our responsibility.
Welcome to Goddesses Retreat One
COURAGEOUS HEALING WOMAN
We are committed to meeting the needs of all women and will direct them to the specific programs or service providers that can assist them regardless of race, creed, or religion. Our work and mission are geared toward helping all women in becoming whole, healthy and productive in their lives. This support can benefit them greatly at a time when they may need it the most.

GODDESSES Retreat One... HONORS!
The Goddesses Retreat One is a commemorative home in dedication to our beloved WW2 Veteran Sister, Azalia Oliver who passed on September 15, 2017. It will serve as a holistic healing space and educational opportunity for students to learn about the life of a remarkable local woman and role model, who served her country and community well.
